I’ve returned home from Annapolis

A total of 3798 miles driven.  No drama with the Toyota Tundra (now has 160,000 miles on the ticker) nor the Caribiou Lite camper.

I experienced 100% success with the water pump working, not like my last big trip.  In addition the fridge’s propane system only blew out once.

The trip had flawless weather and Fall is in the air.  Evenings were all cool making for great sleeping temperatures. I saw some trees beginning to change colors while in the eastern hardwood forests and Appalachians.  Not ‘full color’ but still enjoyable.

Leaves just starting to change colors.

One night heading to Annapolis I stayed in a KOA.  The other two nights were spent in truck stop parking lots.

Momma Kitty says truck stop camping is fine ... but the idling semis can be bothersome.

Mount Vernon, Illinois, Pilot truck stop.  Got lucky this night as no semi trucks near me night idled!

While returning from Annapolis all three nights were spent ‘camping’ in a Walmart parking lots.  In all cases there were no problems and Walmart provides a good free option for those wishing to boondock camp for the night (when allowed by local laws).

Another trip begins in just a week.  This time I head west.
