Through my work, as a boat builder, I received a recall notice that a common brand of fire extinguisher may be faulty. NOT GOOD. The recall is for Kidde brand units. I checked and the fire extinguisher in the Caribou Lite isn’t one of the recalled models. Good!
The fire extinguisher in the Caribou Lite is located under the dinette table.
I suggest you check your camper, especially if purchased after June 2013, to assure your extinguisher isn’t effected as Kidde units are really common – besides the Kidde in the Caribou Lite I have older extinguishers (not part of the recall) in my Ford Ranger, Roamin Chariot, my Montgomery 17 sailboat and my Sage 17 sailboat.
